FIFA World Cup 2022 Results at a Glance: The FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar have 32 top national teams playing for the World Cup title of football from November 20 to December 18. This edition of the World Cup is also based on the familiar format with the 32 teams divided into eight groups—Group A to H—with each group having four teams. First, the teams in each group will take part in a round-robin format in the group stage of the competition.

After the group stage, there will be knockout stage in which top two teams from each of the eight groups A to H will participate in the face off, beginning with the Round of 16 stage of the game. The final will be played on December 18, and the contest for the third place is scheduled for the previous day in the FIFA World Cup 2022 schedule. All matches of the 2022 Qatar FIFA World Cup will be played across eight venues in and around Doha.
